HOW TO PRESERVE THE ENVIRONMENT

  After knowing the use of the environment, we therefore see how to preserve it in the following ways;

1.Re-planting trees in places were they have been cut and planting trees in the places where they have never been planted, that it is to say that we should keep on carrying out a forestation and re-a forestation.
2.Preserving swamps and wetlands as well so that to avoid drought.

 IMPOTANCE OF LIVING THINGS IN THE ENVIRONMENT.
  • Plants as the main living things on the planet, for instance forests and swamps play a big role in the formation rainfall.
    • Water bodies also play a big role in the formation of rainfall and act as the habitats of water animals like fish and they should therefore be preserved and never cut down for settlement and farming purposes.
IMPORTANCE of the environment IN THE SOCIETY
  • First and foremost environment refers to the study of man and his surroundings.
  • We therefore consider both the living and non living things we talking about the environment.
  • For living things we talk about the human beings ,wild animals and domestic animals as well.
  • To begin with, man he rears and feeds some of the domestic animals; for instance rabbits, goats, cows hence they act as the source of food to man. Some animals like dogs protect man and his property.
  • Still with talking about living things, plants play a main role in the better living of man for instance swamps, forests help in  rain formation which help in the better growth of both the food crops and cash crops  thus creating a wonderful environment to live in.
  • Basing on these facts the environment should be preserved since it has got many uses as seen above.
